6-8 pears or apples, organic
1 cup water
cinnamon to taste
- Peel, core and chop fruit.
- Put into a crock-pot.
- Pour water on top and sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
- Simmer for a few hours or until the fruit is very soft.
- Drain off any excess liquid, mash or blend in a food processor or Vita Mix (if you like your texture a little chunky be mindful of how long you blend it) to your desired texture.
Chunky = Less Blending Smooth = More Blending
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
