Because of the apple juice, this recipe contains some carbs, so only drink this as a treat if you’re a low carber! I make a pitcher full for our holiday dinners and its always a big hit. Children like it too and because of the herbal tea and reduced sugar content, it makes a healthier choice that straight fruit juices or soda!
- Steep the 8 tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water for approximately 10 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags.
- Combine the tea with the apple juice and refrigerate until very cold.
- Serve over ice.
TIP: Again depending on the season I will embellish each glass with something seasonally appropriate. For the Spring and Summer I might add a mint sprig and a slice of lemon to the glass, VERY Chic!
