Listen, Popeye the sailor man ate spinach for a reason… it’s jam packed with nutrients that are really good for your sacred body vessel!
Spinach is one of the most nutrient-rich vegetables and is nearly 50% protein… it’s available at every supermarket and it’s affordable. Spinach has a really mild taste and is loaded with iron, beta-carotene and other essential nutrients which makes it perfect for blending into smoothies. TIP: Be sure to switch up your greens and don’t rely solely on spinach as your dark leafy greens source.
As for peaches … well, who doesn’t like peaches? They are in season now (July + August) in the North East, so drink up Goddess!
1-2 peaches, pitted
1-2 cups spinach leaves
ground cinnamon to taste (optional)
1-2 drops liquid stevia or packet of Truvia (optional)
- Fill blender with as much water/ice as you like and add ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
Blueberries and spinach make a great combo too!
