If you like apples or better yet … apple pie – this is a “must try” recipe Goddess. Warm, sweet, cinnamon-ly delicious and light… YUM!
It’s a staple dessert for my family and I during the fall and winter. Wait till you get a whiff of the aroma while the apples are baking … it’s absolutely heavenly.
4 organic apples, washed and cored
4 teaspoons Swerve sugar substitute
2 teaspoons butter
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place cored apples in baking dish. Put a little Swerve, butter and cinnamon in each apple hole, dividing everything equally.
- Place a small amount of water in the bottom of the baking dish and bake in oven for approximately 45 minutes until the apples are tender.
- You can serve the baked apples whole or slice each of the apples in the plate and served them up warm, which is what I did.
